Associate Membership of the Consensus

This is the Java form for Associate Membership of the Consensus.

The benefits of such membership are:

  • To to be kept updated with information concerning the party.

  • To have the right to attend the Annual General Meeting (AGM).

  • To have an open invitation to informal party social functions.

  • To have an open invitation to comment on party issues via whatever medium is chosen for such debate.

  • It's free!

The only obligation required is the willingness (if asked) to sign the nomination form of any Consensus candidate in your area. This only applies if you are on the electoral register.

Associate Membership does not entitle the Associate Member to vote at the AGM, nor to stand as a candidate for the Consensus in any capacity either internally or externally. Neither does it guarantee any weight in ongoing policy or strategy decisions taken by the party. You will not be assigned a membership number.

A statement of whether you will allow this information to be passed to other full members for contact purposes.
A statement as to whether you are a registered voter
A statement that you are willing to sign the nomination papers of a Consensus candidate if asked and are a registered voter.

You may also include any comments, details of employment, details of how you found us etc – in short, anything you think may be helpful.
Under no circumstances short of a court order will your details be revealed to anyone not a member of the Consensus.
